No to LPT Hike But Yes to Funding From It – November 7th, 2022

Fine Gael councillor Bobby O’Connell from the Castleisland Corca Dhuibhne Municipal District has accused the majority of Killarney councillors of being hypocritical when it comes to the property tax. He says the majority, excluding Cllr Niall Kelleher, voted against increasing the LPT but they are only too happy to support funding for community projects when those same funds are paid for by the tax.
