Tomorrow is Daffodil Day, the national annual flagship fundraiser for the Irish Cancer Society. Nine-year-old Lily Šebestová and her family are asking you to give as much as you can tomorrow. It’s almost three years since Lily was diagnosed with cancer. Her mother Lorraine spoke to Jerry about her courageous daughter, the support they get from the Irish Cancer Society, and the lack of support for families, like them, who have to spend vast amounts of money for accommodation in Dublin. Lily must regularly travel to Crumlin hospital for treatment including chemotherapy.
