The new EU customs charges come into effect on July 1st. Consumers will have to pay a €3 customs duty charge on each item bought from non-EU retailers. VAT may also apply in some cases. Jerry spoke to Ray Ryan who’s the head of Revenue’s national customs policies and procedures branch.
