National Park Wildfire: Gardaí Investigating – July 16th, 2026

Treasa spoke to Cathaoirleach of Killarney Municipal District, Cllr  John O’Donoghue, about the Government’s request to retailers not to sell disposable barbecues. It’s believed such an item was the cause of the wildfire in Killarney National Park. She also spoke to Christopher O’Sullivan who’s Minister of State for Nature, Heritage and Diversity.
