Tony Walsh of Walsh Colour Print in Castleisland built homes for his employees. He sold the houses to staff for the price it cost him to build. One employee has been unable to get a mortgage though because the house is not insured by HomeBond. HomeBond provides structural defects cover. Bank of Ireland has refused Wojciech Socha a mortgage although the bank has approved mortgages for other properties built by Mr Walsh.
