Junior Minister Brendan Griffin says he wasn’t recommending legislation to allow people caught drink driving drive to work. The Kerry deputy met with the Kerry vintners recently and the issue of drink drivers and how they travel for work was raised. He says he committed to passing on details of their proposal to officials at the Department of Transport.
