At the start of the day it seemed that the Government would support the controversial EU Mercosur trade deal. Then around 9.45am, it emerged that the government would not support the deal with South American states. There had been speculation that independent deputies including the Healy-Raes who have backed the government might withdraw their support over the issue. Jerry spoke to TD Danny Healy-Rae.
