The An Post team at Killarney’s New Street post office are the winners of An Post’s Values in Practice (VIP) award for 2022/23. The award which goes for outstanding performance among An Post’s nationwide post office and mails networks. It is the first time that the VIP award has been won by the retail arm of the company. Jerry spoke to Liam Hartnett, former manager of An Post Killarney who nominated the team, and one of the staff members, Anne Clifford.

Killarney staff Mary O’Shea, Geraldine Teahan, Anne Clifford, Margaret O’Connor, Christine Fleming, Amanda Lyne and Liz Spillane were nominated for the award by their former Manager Liam Hartnett who cited their commitment to values of service and continuous improvement in serving the people of Killarney.
