Sinn Féin TD Pa Daly visited striking medical scientists outside University Hospital Kerry this morning. He speaks to Jerry about this and about the impact of a closure of a unit for children and teenagers with mental health challenges, particularly those with eating disorders. He also discloses the connection between the famed travel writer Dervla Murphy who has died at the age of 90 and the executed IRA activist Charlie Kerins from Tralee. Finally, in marking the passing of Dervla Murphy, Jerry also offers his condolences to the family and friends of Nick Ryan in Kenmare. Nick was an extremely gifted musician, writer and performer.
