Marine archaeologist Mensun Bound on Tom Crean and finding Endurance

Marine archaeologist Mensun Bound of the Falklands Maritime Heritage Trust spoke at last week's Global Economic Summit in Killarney.
He's renowned for discovering many famous shipwrecks, in particular, for the rediscovery of Sir Ernest Shackleton's Endurance which sank in 1915. Tom Crean was part of Shackleton's crew which sailed on board the ship for the Antarctic. Mensun was director of exploration for the expedition that successfully located Endurance in 2022. He spoke to Treasa Murphy.
