On Friday night, the Lee Strand Garda Youth Achievement Awards took place in the Ballyroe Tralee. Twenty-five recipients were honoured at the awards ceremony. Treasa spoke to overall winner Ryan Griffin and his father Adrian, Elma Walsh of the Donal Walsh #LiveLife Foundation, Erin O’Sullivan who received the Special Achievement Award and her mother Caroline, and to Doreen Killington of Castleisland Community College whose students – The Upcyclers – won the Group Award.
