Yesterday marked the official opening of the Kerry Sports Academy which enables people involved in sport, whether abled or disabled, to prepare and compete to the highest standards. It’s also been designed to address the needs of Paralympic level athletes. Disability rights campaigner and advocate Joanne O’Riordan and former Tánaiste Dick Spring who is chairman of the Institute of Technology Tralee Foundation spoke to Jerry.
