Catherine Shanahan, deputy property editor of the Irish Examiner, spoke to Jerry about the story of the O’Sullivan family from Ballinskelligs who went to the US in the 1980s and became massively successful in construction, with their company Navillus. Former CEO of Navillus Construction Dónal O’Sullivan along with his sister Helen O’Sullivan, and Pádraig Naughton are due to be sentenced in June after being found guilty of wire fraud, mail fraud, embezzlement from employee benefit funds, submission of false remittance reports to union benefits funds, and conspiracy to commit these crimes.
