Continuing this week long feature to mark National Volunteering Week, Jerry finds out about the importance of volunteers in civil defence and in promoting tourism, festivals, music and other forms of culture in Kerry.
Caroline Boland is tourism and marketing officer with Dingle Peninsula Tourism Alliance, Karen Trench is chairperson of Kerry Comhaltas, and Tom Brosnan is civil defence officer for Kerry.
Jerry also spoke to the manager of Kerry Volunteer Centre Geraldine O'Sullivan.
