Kerry Student Central to Creation of Ireland's First Solar-Powered Race Car – October 17th, 2024

The engineering students of DCU have unveiled Ireland's first ever solar-powered race car, designed and built by students from across the university in preparation for the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in 2025.
The head of manufacturing on the project is Rian Gill from Lissivigeen, Killarney, and he spoke to Jerry about the project.
