Last Friday, the Minister for Transport Eamonn Ryan and junior minister Hildegarde Naughton announced that agreement had been reached with Ryanair and that the airline would take over the operation of the Kerry-Dublin service. Ryanair responded by saying no agreement had been reached and that Minister Ryan’s statement was ‘premature and inaccurate’.
