Communications officer with Kerry County Council, Owen O’Shea spoke to Jerry about preparations being made by the council, gardaí and emergency services. Since Owen spoke to Jerry this morning, the storm was upgraded to a code red, the highest weather warning, and was due to come into effect between 6 and 8 this evening.
