Kerry and Cork County Councils Urged to Join Forces on Road Works – August 1st, 2018

Kerry County Council is planning to close the N71 route between Kenmare and Glengarriff to carry out work to the Caha tunnel for five days next month.

Cork County Councillor Danny Collins says his local authority intends to close the same road on the Cork side of the tunnel for at least four weeks starting in October.

Cllr Johnny Healy-Rae and Stephen O’Sullivan from Bonane spoke about the potential implications.
