Independent councillor Charlie Farrelly gives his views on water service workers who are due to go on strike over being transferred to the utility, Uisce Éireann. His concern is that when staff transfer from Council to Uisce Éireann, they will no longer be locally based and may have to travel as far away as Mallow when responding to problems with water services in Kerry.
