Killarney Cardiac Response Unit (KCRU) is looking for volunteers following its busiest year ever in 2025.
Treasa spoke to the operations manager at Killarney Cardiac Response Unit, Kevin O' Leary, and another volunteer, Katie Cameron.
They spoke of the importance of having volunteers living across a wide area as it reduces the time it takes to reach cardiac incidents.

Kevin said for every minute-long delay receiving treatment, the survival rate drops between 5% and 7%.
