Is the Council Doing Enough to Combat Littering? – October 11th, 2021

Independent councillor Jackie Healy-Rae talks to Jerry about the ongoing issue of littering in the county. Cllr Healy-Rae recently questioned Kerry County Council’s approach to collecting littering fines.

So far this year, the council has issued 79 fines for littering but only 30 have been paid. Director of services with the local authority, John Breen responded by stating that Kerry County Council will be bringing those suspected of littering offences to court.
