Barrister Elizabeth Murphy speaks to Jerry after publicly condemning the Garda’s decision to exhume the remains of Baby John. Ms. Murphy wrote a letter in a personal capacity as a woman and a citizen to the Garda Commissioner where she questioned the motives for reopening the case. In her opinion, the public have no appetite for any potential prosecution of the baby’s mother. The infant was found on a beach near Cahersiveen in 1984 with 28 stab wounds.
