• “Properties too far from the centre of town or the side/area of town they wish to live in.”
• “Garden -  too small or there is no shed.”
• “Only want a new council property and will not accept the older houses.”

These are some of the reasons why people have turned down social housing from Kerry County Council or from approved housing bodies. The details were given to Cllr Jackie Healy-Rae. Former councillor and Mayor of Killarney Seán O’Grady also gets involved in the discussion.  He says some people have very valid reasons for not accepting a house.
