Lorna Siggins is the author of Search and Rescue: True Stories of Irish Air-Sea Rescues and the Loss of R116. She reveals the truth behind the Irish Coast Guard Rescue 116 helicopter in 2017. Her book features many rescues and attempted rescues including what happened when the Celestial Dawn ran aground while leaving Dingle in 2002. Retired Kerryman journalist and Radio Kerry broadcaster Ted Creedon was among the first to raise the alarm.
