Aisling Neville teaches at Dromclough National School, Listowel. She was inspired by a recording of a Ukrainian folk song, which became popular worldwide, after a Ukrainian violinist recorded the piece of music in a bomb shelter. Illia Bondarenko inspired other violinists and, in turn, inspired Aisling and her pupils. They recorded Verbovaya Doschechka on tin whistle. Jerry speaks to Aisling, to 6th class pupil Niamh Kelly, and to deputy principal, Karen Trench.
