Castleisland Horse Fair has been operating since at least 1276 on the 1st of November every year. An insurance claim was made by a man who was injured by a horse. IPB Insurance says Charlie Farrelly is liable as the organiser. Charlie says he’s not the organiser and the event given its provenance has no organisation – people simply turn up on November 1st with their horses.
