Kerry County Councillor Michael Cahill was on holidays abroad last year when he contracted a bacterial infection after he came in contact with blue-green algae. The Rossbeigh man could have lost his leg and his life was at risk. He tells his story to Jerry and the gratitude he feels to the nurses, doctors and staff in the health service.
