Illuminating a Great Irish Artist – May 8th, 2023

Kerry Writers’ Museum has acquired the work of Michael O’Connor, a 20^th-century artist who was born in Listowel. Michael was a great Celtic illuminations stylist which meant he produced work informed by the Book of Kells and other Celtic handmade masterpieces. Jerry spoke to executive direct of the Kerry Writers’ Museum, Cara Trant and a museum director, Jimmy Deenihan.
