Judy Leen was listening to the show yesterday where Radio Kerry News revealed that a Tralee residential centre for adults with autism, completed 5 years ago but yet to open, has received almost €1.5m in state funding.
Judy’s 22-year-old-son James has autism and other conditions. She agreed to move James from Kerry to a facility in Louth because she was told the residential centre in Dromavalla, Ballyseedy would be opening shortly. That was a year ago. Judy told her story to Jerry.
