According to the Health Protection Surveillance Centre, there were 12 confirmed cases of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in Kerry between November 20th and 26th. RSV – also known as bronchiolitis – is a chest infection contracted by babies and young children. Killarney GP Gary Stack gives his reaction to the figures from the HPSC.
