GP Advice on RSV, Flu and Other Infections – December 2nd, 2022

According to the Health Protection Surveillance Centre, there were 12 confirmed cases of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in Kerry between November 20th and 26th. RSV – also known as bronchiolitis – is a chest infection contracted by babies and young children. Killarney GP Gary Stack gives his reaction to the figures from the HPSC. He also gives advice on the flu, pneumococcal disease, COVID-19, and vaccinations.
