A page purporting to be a livestream link for a funeral of a woman in the county has recently scammed several people. The page was created with a link to watch the funeral ceremony, and almost 300 people were connected to the page in less than an hour.
Comments on the page later alerted other users to the scam nature of the profile and requesting people to report the page. However, it's understood a number of people followed the link on the page and entered their details, these people later had to contact their banks to block their cards.
