Laure Gleeson contacted the programme to describe how she had been waiting a lengthy time several months to use the Dexa Scanner at University Hospital Kerry. The machine measures the density or strength of bones. The scanner cost €110,000 and was raised through charity by the Friends of Kerry General Hospital.
