On June 22nd, Uisce Éireann announced that a boil water notice had been placed on customers on the Aughacasla Public Water Supply. This affects 340 homes and businesses in West Kerry. This is due to increased turbidity impacting the treatment processes at the water treatment plant. Turbidity relates to water quality being cloudy, opaque or thick with suspended matter.
