Kerry County Council has refuted claims that Cahersiveen will lose funding following the approval of an area plan for South Kerry.
A draft of the West Iveragh Plan 2019-2025 was approved at a special meeting in Cahersiveen last week, with the majority of councillors voting in favour of the proposal.
