The National Council for Curriculum Assessment has been carrying out a review as to how relationships and sexuality education (RSE) are taught in schools. However, there have been rumours spread that changes to the programme will lead to four-year-olds being taught about pornography and masturbation. The NCCA’s education officer Annette Horan spoke to Treasa Murphy.
