Concerns over Training Standards for Junior Doctors at University Hospital Kerry – August 16th, 2018

UHK has been found not fully compliant with the majority of Medical Council training standards for junior doctors. UHK is one of nine hospitals inspected as part of Medical Council’s quality assurance role in medical education and training. Jerry spoke to Dr Paddy Hillery, chair of the IMO NCHD (non-consultant hospital doctors) and to Sinn Féin councillor, Damian Quigg, who is on the HSE South Health Forum.
