Cllr Niall Botty O’Callaghan on Today’s KCC Presidential Nomination – Monday, 15th September 2025

At the first full Kerry County Council meeting since the summer break, councillors voted on who, if anyone, would receive the local authority’s nomination to contest  the 2025 Irish presidential election on Friday, 24 October.

Cllr O’Callaghan also spoke of his concerns about continuing delays at the new Killarney Community Nursing Unit, which had been due to open earlier this year.
