Yesterday, the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) and gardaí carried out searches of properties in Kerry and Cork as part of an operation targeting bogus tradesmen. Tadhg McCarthy is chairman of Sneem/Castlecove Community Alert and has helped people who have been victims of this type of criminality.
