Bishops’ Advice on Funeral Attendance – February 2nd, 2021

The Bishops of the Cashel Province, which includes the Bishop of Kerry, have issued a statement on funerals. It states that people not attending the funeral liturgy should avoid congregating immediately outside the church or around the hearse. Shane O’Donoghue is with the Catholic Diocese of Kerry.
