Minister for Mental Health and Older People Mary Butler has launched a new advocacy service for young people in Kerry using child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS).Siobhan O’Dwyer, CEO of Youth Advocate Programmes Ireland, speaks to Jerry about the service. She gives assurances to young people and their families in the wake of the South Kerry CAMHS scandal which found hundreds of children were harmed or put at risk of harm.
