Last evening, it emerged that a man and a woman had been arrested on suspicion of murdering a baby in 1984. The new-born boy was found dead with 28 stab wounds on White Strand near Cahersiveen in April 1984. Solicitor Pat Mann represented the Hayes family from Abbeydorney who were wrongly implicated in Baby John’s murder. Treasa Murphy also spoke to local councillors Norma Moriarty and Michael Cahill.
