Gardaí are investigating the alleged attempted abduction of a child in Scartaglen. It’s understood that on Saturday afternoon two men in a black Volkswagen Golf approached a young boy, who was playing in the community’s GAA grounds. Bobby O’Connell is the local county councillor.
