All-Ireland First: Japan’s SpoGomi Comes to Cahersiveen – November 19th, 2025

SpoGomi is a litter-picking game that began in Japan and has become so popular, there’s now a World Cup for it! The first official SpoGomi competition will take place in Cahersiveen this Sunday, November 23^rd, from 11am to 1pm. It’s part of the Climate Ceardaíocht Festival. Jerry spoke to Dr Anita McKeown, one of the event organisers.
