“A Ray of Sunshine”: Jamey Carney Remembered – July 16th, 2026

The funeral Mass for Jamie Carney took place yesterday in St Mary’s Cathedral, Killarney. The 43-year-old American was murdered in her home last week. Yesterday’s funeral remembered not how she died but the love and joy she brought to her family and friends’ lives.  Fr Kieran O’Brien was the celebrant. Breda Forrest reports.
