Autumn is the time of year when cattle are taken off the land, moved into sheds and fed hay or silage. Nora Nelligan.

The first two photos from Ballyseedy Wood - wonderful mix of foliage and a display of maybe ‘magic mushrooms’ - great place to wander this time of the year.

I love the fuchsia - a wonderful splash of colour in my garden when a lot of other plants are fading

I could not resist including the goat who decided he would raid our golf bags whilst we were playing golf recently in Lahinch.

These two photos were taken during an early morning outing in mid-October to Knockreer Killarney, where Park Ranger Pádraig outlined the comings and goings of the Red Deer Stags and Hinds during the rutting season. Photo 1: Knockreer Stag The Stag rushes to ward off an approaching stag who was attempting to encroach on his territory. Photo 2: Knockreer Stag and Hinds. The Stag returns to his Hinds, who seem remarkably unperturbed by the threatened intrusion.

Photograph after some rain I thought the reflections of the trees were nice in the water. Regards Frank O Sullivan.

Photos attached from Lily Elvins. They were taken in Ballyseedy Woods.
