Hi Joe

Love your show on a Saturday morning with informative guests with very interesting stories.

A few photos around the county, the lake photos are from the Lake Hotel, so peaceful and of course great Kerry welcome. I'm from Donegal, I'd say we're both similar in our welcoming ways.

Be interested in any feedback.

Have a well earned weekend off.

Regards

Johnny

Hi Joe and Dominic,

Here are three photos for the "Summer through my lens" theme. Two of the annual highlights of my summers for many years have been

  1. a trip to the Great Blasket Island and
  2. The wonderful "Féile na Bealtaine Festival weekend in Dingle

The first image is of cottages on the Great Blasket Island with An Trá Ban and its many seals on the left and Beginish Island in the distance.Taken last Monday May 19th 2025

The 2nd image is of a brass band group participating in the Féile na Bealtaine street parade

The 3rd image is also of the same parade.I was delighted when this participant decided to engage with me when she caught sight of my camera

All the best

Noel O Neill

Attached are my Photos for May

The first is of a withered dandelion - but in it I see much more than a weed - I see a wish as it reminds me of that game we used to play in our childhood. It was taken during a nature walk in the town Park Tralee.

The second is of a boat approaching Bricín Bridge going from Lough Leane to the Muckross Lake.

The third is of a magnificent tree at the exraordinary Stone Circle near Lough Gur County Limerick.

Thank you both

Hi Joe and Domnick,

Attached photos for this months In Focus.

1 Road down to Cockleshell beach looking off into the distance.

2 The hens pecking the ground around the old cottage at Muckross Farm taken during a visit there a few weeks ago.  Great place to visit in the summer.

3 Summer time means the celebration of Traveller culture - one of the old traditions is fortune telling. This was taken at the recent event in the MTU in conjunction with Kerry Travellers Project.

Hello Joe and Domnick,

Attached are my photos for this month's In Focus supplement on the theme of 'Summer Through My Lens."

Picture 1: We were spoiled with some great weather for the month of May and we really got to see our beautiful county at its best. This is a photo I took on Valentia Island looking back towards Cahersiveen with the famous slate quarry in the bottom of the picture.

Picture 2: The arrival of summer also brings the arrival of many shows and festivals. One that always marks the start of festival and show season in my mind is the Kingdom County Show. There were a host of stalls selling a variety of items including this one selling saddles.

Picture 3: It wouldn't be an Irish summer without the GAA, unfortunately for our hurlers the season didn't pan out as we would have hoped as they suffered a damaging loss to Laois. Hopefully better days are ahead!

Thanks as always for putting together such an enjoyable show.

Warm regards,

Mark Nolan

Hi Joe and Dominic,

Having regard to your summertime theme I attach two images. One of the great things about summertime is the lovely long evenings we get to enjoy and the associated beautiful sunsets. In that context I attach two late evening images taken just before nightfall with lovely colour in the sky.First image taken from the "clasach" high road leading to Dunquin shows Dunquin and the Blasket Islands.Second image was taken from the carpark near the old Inch Hotel with summer flowers in the foreground. This has always been  a very popular viewing point.

Best regards to you both,

Michael Kennedy
