The All-Ireland Football Champions received a hero’s welcome as they arrived back to the Kingdom of Kerry, with jubilant scenes unfolding along the streets of Tralee. The team made their way onto Denny Street, where thousands of ecstatic fans gathered to greet their returning heroes. Flags waved, chants echoed, and a sea of green and gold filled the town as supporters of all ages turned out to celebrate Kerry’s latest triumph. It was a proud moment for the county as the victorious panel, management, and backroom team took to the stage with the Sam Maguire Cup held high, marking another glorious chapter in Kerry’s rich GAA history.

Hi Dominic and Joe. This is my first time sending in photos to you both. Unfortunately, I don't have a good camera, so I captured what I thought showed "Green and Gold in Summer", this month's theme on my phone.  First photo: A green and gold tractor in a bog in Ballinskelligs. Second photo: Beautiful green and gold flowers with the backdrop of St. Finian's Bay, The Glen, Ballinskelligs Third photo: Taken on a very grey misty evening on Reenroe beach,  Ballinskelligs.  The sun shone on this spot for a few minutes and I immediately thought of Green and Gold in Summer and Joe and Dominic discussing the scene! enjoyed taking the photos. Thanks you both. Up Kerry💚💛 Catherine Curran  Ballinskelligs

Please find attached a set of three photos for July 2025 depicting the green and gold for Radio Kerry entry. THey were taken on Thursday 17th of July 2025

The photos were taken at Uragh stone circle, Co.Kerry. The location was chosen because or gaelic game of football goes back centuries and is part of our heritage like the stone circle.

The whiskey and kerrygold butter are also famous for our native shores nd country. The gold in the jar signifies the many celebrations we have in Kerry over the years and will continue we hope when we bring back the sam maguire cup to Kerry.

The photos link our ancient past, our culinary tastes, our heritage, our love of our county and football through the green and gold of our landscape. Thank you for the opportunity to take part in your photo slot.

Kind regards, Geraldine Kelly Ps. All the earth was put back to the way it was. Sorry no rainbow or leprechaun found!

Hi Joe,

Love your show and all the build-up to the All-Ireland—such great energy and excitement!

My brother mentioned you're inviting photos of Kerry supporters from around the world, so I wanted to send along a few pictures of our family proudly backing the Kingdom.

We’re massive Kerry fans in this house—cheering loud from across the miles! 💚💛

I was home this summer and attended both the Cavan and Armagh games. From across the miles in Boise, Idaho, USA, we're sending our very best wishes to the Kerry team this Sunday! 💚💛

Please find attached a few photos of our family proudly supporting the men in Green and Gold and proudly displaying the Kerry flag outside our house.

The Shanahan family — Tom (originally from Kilbaha, Moyvane), Gina, Aislinn, and John Patrick — wish the team the VERY BEST OF LUCK ☘️

Ciarraí Abú!
Colours up! We are ready to roar – Come on The Kingdom!
Bring Sam home! 💚💛🏆

Warm regards,
The Shanahan Family in Idaho

Hi Joe/Dominick,

This is my first time submitting photos but I’ve listened to the show (mainly on Podcast) each month for a while.   I have three photos I'd like to submit for Green and Golden Summer.  I wish all three were from Kerry, but travel and weather have made this nearly impossible. Here goes:

My first photograph was taken last week during an anniversary trip wih my husband to LEenane and we drove through the Doolagh Valley.  The green of the mountain with some of the yellow tones anlong with the yellow dashes made me think of the Kerrry Colours, despite being in a different county!!!  It was taken on my Nikon D7200.

The second photograph was taken last September (not sure if we are allowed to use older photos taken), but this one is in Kerry and was taken at Sunset on the evening of the 2024 Equinoctial Sunset & Megalithic Tomb at Loch a’Dúi. This was taken on my iPhone.

The third photograph was taken on my OM TG7 using the macro mode and is of the wheat growing in the field next door to where I live.  The wheat is golden but there is also the green of the wheat grass.

I hope you like the photos!!

Regards,
Liz Browne

Hello Joe and Domnick,

Attached are my photos for this month's In Focus supplement on the theme of 'Green and Golden Summer'.

Picture 1: Last Monday, Kerry returned home triumphant with Sam Maguire in tow—but it was another Sam who caught my eye. Councillor Sam Locke was singing and dancing in the rain on Denny Street as the crowds waited for the team to arrive.

Picture 2: A sea of green and gold welcomes the open top bus as the Kerry team arrives on Denny Street.

Picture 3: Colorful garden furniture basks in the golden light as the sun sets on a perfect summer evening.

Thanks as always for putting together such an enjoyable show.

Warm regards,
Mark Nolan

Hello Joe and Dominic,

On the theme of ‘green and golden summer’, I didn’t venture beyond the back garden.

The first photo is of our 10 year old golden lab ‘Ted’, on the very green grass after the rain, happily chewing on a carrot.

The second photo is simply of golden dahlia flowers, with their green foliage, with raindrops following a shower.

Thanking you both for the enjoyable once a month photography programme.

Róisín Rice, Abbeydorney
