Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment with special responsibility for artificial intelligence, Niamh Smyth was in Kerry this week to launch the 6th annual John McCarthy AI Summer School. Amber attended the launch in the RDI Hub and spoke to the Junior Minister about being the first minister with a designated responsibility for AI, how businesses will be supported in implementing AI and their plans to ensure it’s used ethically.
