Organised by Fáilte Ireland, the Meitheal tourism trade event sees deals worth hundreds of millions of euros agreed at it annually. It took place at the Gleneagle INEC, Killarney from March 20th to 22nd, and saw 450 Irish businesses pitch to 232 tour operators from 17 countries, to try to get their business or attraction included on the itinerary of visitors to Ireland.
We hear from some of those attending the event: · Áine McLoughin of Aran Island Ferries · Alan Maye of Mullingar Bike Hire · David Cleary of EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum · Marco Weijgertse of G2 Travel |
