Katie Walsh, a second-year student at Castleisland Community College, has used her own experience of being visually impaired to create a booklet called Eyes for All. It offers advice and support in education for visually impaired. Katie was named as the winner of the Intermediate Category at the Kerry Student Enterprise Awards recently. She spoke to Amber about creating this business and the reaction it's getting. Amber also spoke to Castleisland Community College principal Mairéad Corridan about the benefits of a competition like this and the skills creating a business brings students.
